Meet Coco! He is a snuggly bundle of Shih Tzu sweetness. Coco is 9 years old. Hes housebroken, neutered and up to date on vaccines and he just got a spiffy new haircut! Here is an update from his foster mom: Coco is doing well as he has adjusted to his foster home which has a lot more chaos than his previous home with his elderly owners. Coco is a chubby little fellow with a short stocky build, he is as cute a Shih Tzu as could be. A bit mischievous as he tries to scamper away, and a bit grumpy when you lift him up, he is otherwise delightful. He loves a soft bed and a good meal. So far, Coco has been excellent with his housebreaking. He does like to vocalize as he walks around so his new owner will need to be tolerant. He is not barking so much as communicating and his bark is soft. He howls a little on occasions when he is sad. Coco has "dry eye" and needs a medicated salve placed into his eyes twice a day. Although he does not enjoy this, he does allow treatment. A treat given afterwards helps. Coco would be best in a home without children. He is passive with dogs and seems a bit afraid of cats. He has some visual impairment but can see. Note: He can not do stairs - up or down and needs to be protected from attempting them. He loves his ears rubbed. Contact BARKS to meet this sweet fella!
